Job Description
  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse, logistics, and spare parts operations.
  2. Oversee spare parts inventory management, including procurement, storage, stock rotation, and reconciliation.
  3. Ensure accurate record-keeping and utilization of ERP/MRP systems for stock management.
  4. Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation and delivery schedules.
  5. Implement inventory optimization strategies to minimize stock-outs and excess stock.
  6. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for timely supply of spare parts.
  7. Supervise warehouse operations, including storage layout, material handling, and safety compliance.
  8. Lead team of logistics coordinators, storekeepers, and inventory personnel.
  9. Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and lead times.
  10. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory regulations in storage and handling.
  11. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and cost reduction in logistics and inventory management.
  12. Support budgeting and cost control related to spare parts and logistics operations.
