Create and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols
Select tools, cutting parameters, and fixtures for machining operations
Verify tool paths through simulation before production
Set up CNC machines for production, including part alignment and zeroing
Optimize programs for cycle time reduction and material efficiency
Collaborate with operators and production teams to ensure smooth workflow
Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues
Maintain documentation of CNC programs and revisions
Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and safety protocols
Monitor machine performance and provide feedback for process improvement
