Job Description
  1. Prepare and cook continental dishes as per the menu and restaurant standards.
  2. Supervise and coordinate activities of Commis chefs and kitchen assistants.
  3. Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes.
  4. Handle a designated kitchen section (e.g., grill, sauce, soup, or cold section).
  5. Assist in menu planning, recipe standardization, and portion control.
  6. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, sanitized, and organized.
  7. Monitor inventory and report shortages to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
  8. Follow HACCP and FSSAI guidelines for hygiene and food safety.
  9. Train junior staff on cooking techniques, plating, and kitchen discipline.
  10. Support in buffet setups, banquets, and special events.
