Job Description
  1. Prepare and cook Indian sweets (mithai) and desserts according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
  2. Assist the Chef / Head Halwai in menu execution, portioning, and plating.
  3. Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of sweets and desserts.
  4. Monitor and maintain food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
  5. Assist in inventory management, including checking stock, ordering raw materials, and minimizing wastage.
  6. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment used for sweet preparation (e.g., bhattis, mixers, steamers).
  7. Participate in new recipe development or seasonal special preparations.
  8. Work as part of the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours or festivals.
  9. Ensure timely preparation of sweets for banquets, events, or daily sales.
