Job Description
  1. Supervise daily fettling operations (grinding, cutting, chipping, shot blasting)
  2. Ensure removal of risers, runners, and excess metal from cast components
  3. Allocate work to operators and monitor productivity
  4. Maintain production targets as per schedule
  5. Ensure adherence to safety standards and use of PPE
  6. Inspect finished castings before sending to next process
  7. Coordinate with Quality and Production departments
  8. Maintain records of production output and rejection rates
  9. Reduce rework and improve process efficiency
  10. Ensure proper maintenance of fettling tools and machines
