Job Description
  1. Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team to achieve production goals.
  2. Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive components and assemblies.
  3. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, TS16949 and other automotive quality standards.
  4. Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives for continuous improvement.
  5. Collaborate with design, R&D, and production teams for New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation.
  6. Manage automation projects, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to enhance production efficiency.
  7. Oversee capacity planning, line balancing, and process flow optimization.
  8. Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and safety.
  9. Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving for process and production issues.
  10. Ensure safety compliance and adherence to environmental and regulatory guidelines.
  11. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, downtime, scrap, and rework.
  12. Liaise with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and stakeholders to align with customer requirements.
  13. Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and accountability.
