Job Description
  1. Manage day-to-day operations of the metrology laboratory
  2. Supervise and train lab technicians and staff
  3. Perform dimensional inspections and measurements using precision instruments
  4. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of instruments (CMM, Vernier, Micrometer, gauges)
  5. Maintain quality standards compliance (ISO, ASTM, GMP, etc.)
  6. Prepare and maintain measurement reports, calibration certificates, and lab records
  7. Support internal and external audits
  8. Conduct vendor and supplier quality inspections related to dimensional accuracy
  9. Implement and maintain SOPs for metrology lab processes
  10. Analyze measurement data and provide recommendations for process improvements
  11. Ensure safety protocols and proper handling of instruments
  12. Coordinate with production, QC, and R&D teams for quality assurance
