Job Description
  1. Study customer drawings, 3D models, and specifications for new casting parts.
  2. Conduct feasibility analysis for manufacturing and propose design improvements for better castability.
  3. Prepare and review process flow diagrams, methoding layouts, and gating/riser design (in coordination with design or simulation teams).
  4. Coordinate with tooling vendors for pattern, core box, and die development.
  5. Oversee sample production, inspection, and validation against drawing requirements.
  6. Prepare and maintain PPAP / APQP / NPD documentation.
  7. Work closely with quality, production, and purchase departments for successful project execution.
  8. Support value engineering, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
  9. Handle customer communication regarding technical clarifications, approval samples, and design changes.
  10. Ensure on-time delivery of new development projects and maintain project trackers.
