Job Description
  1. Understand and interpret customer drawings, models, and specifications for fabrication parts.
  2. Develop manufacturing processes for fabricated components involving cutting, bending, welding, machining, surface treatment, and assembly.
  3. Coordinate with design, production, quality, and purchase departments to ensure successful product launch.
  4. Prepare and review BOM (Bill of Materials), process sheets, and routing.
  5. Work on DFM (Design for Manufacturability) to improve product quality and reduce cost.
  6. Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation.
  7. Develop fixtures, jigs, and tools required for fabrication.
  8. Evaluate and approve fabrication vendors, ensuring process capability.
  9. Implement value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
  10. Support continuous improvement and process standardization in fabrication operations.
  11. Prepare project timelines and monitor progress against targets.
