Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients with accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Design and review CTC structures in compliance with applicable laws.
  3. Ensure accurate computation and deduction of statutory contributions like EPF, ESIC, LWF, and Professional Tax.
  4. Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns (EPF, ESIC, etc.) within deadlines.
  5. Assist in applications and renewals of Labour Licenses and Factory Licenses, including coordination with regulatory authorities.
  6. Maintain and process client payroll data with confidentiality and compliance in mind.
  7. Respond to and troubleshoot payroll and compliance-related client queries with professionalism.
  8. Stay updated with amendments in labour laws and implement necessary changes in payroll systems and practices.
  9. Support audits and inspections related to labour law compliance.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
  2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Indian payroll and statutory compliance.
  3. Strong knowledge of EPF, ESIC, LWF, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, and other applicable labour laws.
  4. Familiarity with labour and factory license application processes is essential.
  5. Experience handling client data with accuracy and confidentiality.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software tools.
  7. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
