Job Description
  1. Identify and evaluate suppliers for materials, components, and services.
  2. Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
  3. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production/planning teams for material requirements.
  5. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and cost.
  6. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
  7. Ensure materials comply with quality standards and technical specifications.
  8. Collaborate with finance, production, and quality teams for seamless procurement operations.
  9. Participate in tendering, bidding, and supplier selection processes.
  10. Identify opportunities for process improvement in procurement and cost savings.
