Job Description
  1. Evaluate and approve new suppliers based on quality system audits and capability assessment.
  2. Review PPAP / APQP documents and ensure compliance with customer and internal standards.
  3. Monitor incoming material quality and handle supplier rejection analysis.
  4. Perform supplier process audits and follow up on corrective actions.
  5. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for supplier issues.
  6. Maintain supplier performance metrics (PPM, OTD, NCR trends, etc.).
  7. Work with suppliers to develop process control plans, FMEA, and inspection standards.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams (Design, Production, Purchase) for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  9. Support new product development (NPD) activities by validating supplier processes and first-off samples.
  10. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality management system requirements.
