Job Description
  1. Design, build, and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data workflows for large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
  2. Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time streaming solutions.
  3. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to provide reliable and accessible data solutions.
  4. Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
  5. Optimize data storage, query performance, and scalability of databases.
  6. Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, IoT devices, third-party services, and internal systems.
  7. Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  8. Mentor and guide junior data engineers, reviewing code and promoting best practices.
  9. Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure.
  10. Stay up to date with emerging big data, AI/ML, and cloud technologies to propose improvements.
