Job Description
  1. Conduct visual inspection of cast components
  2. Perform basic dimensional checks using Vernier, gauges, etc.
  3. Inspect moulds & cores before pouring (if assigned)
  4. Sort, grade and segregate accepted & rejected components
  5. Maintain inspection logs, rejection reports (NCR) and documentation
  6. Follow visual quality standards / sampling plans (AQL)
  7. Report quality issues to Foundry Supervisor / QA Engineer
  8. Support in root cause identification for recurring defects
  9. Ensure compliance with foundry safety guidelines and PPE usage
  10. Maintain 5S and cleanliness at the inspection area
  11. Coordinate with molding, pouring, fettling, and machining departments
  12. Assist in continuous improvement and defect reduction activities
